In 2024, Ramón kicked off his "Torres Tivoli" tour to promote his second album of the same name. The tour featured a blend of heartfelt performances and vibrant visuals, capturing the essence of his music. On October 26, 2024, he performed at Oslo Spektrum, marking his largest concert to date. Set, lighting, and video designer Andreas Ohldieck (Filament) led the show, which featured advanced zactrack SMART technology. For that, SuperDiode, represented by Jan Martin Svensson Vågen, supplied the system.

How do you reach everyone in the room and make them feel fully immersed in what's happening on stage? This was one of the key questions the stage design and lighting team faced when preparing for the performance at Oslo Spektrum.

“We wanted to create a stage design that extended his recognizable visual universe from music videos and social media. Visibility from all angles of the venue was a key priority, so we built a three-dimensional white box filled with minimalistic scenographic elements—clean, open, and accessible from every seat,” explains Ohldieck. A white box that allowed space for colorful costumes, eccentric dance formations, and lighting that both set the mood and followed Ramón’s every move.

Despite the large scale of the Oslo Spektrum venue, Ohldieck aimed to create an intimate experience for Ramón’s fans, focusing the production on authentic, up-close moments that brought the performance closer to each viewer. “Ramón wanted a strong sense of connection with the audience, so we extended the stage with a ramped catwalk reaching far into the crowd. zactrack gave us the flexibility to calibrate fixtures across the entire rig as followspots, ensuring consistent and precise lighting on the artist throughout the performance. The system allowed us to use side, front, and backlight simultaneously; crucial for covering such an extended and immersive stage layout,” says Ohldieck.

This setup made it possible to beautifully light the main attraction using up to six lights at once from all directions—something that would have been extremely difficult to achieve with conventional methods.
