Interactive 3D background animation in real time
Audi celebrates three world premieres at the international auto show 2014 in Geneva. The Audi S1, the Audi S3 convertible and the brand new Audi TT will be presented to the public for the first time. As a highlight at the press conference, the cars are driven in front of a giant curved LED video wall following a dramatic show choreography.
To assist the presentation effect, Audi uses a zactrack system to automatically track the speed and position of the vehicles. The data is used to trigger a real time animation system. Ccomputer-generated 3D landscapes are rendered in real time, in correlation to the speed and position of the cars.
